The first thing I need to really do is stop procrastinating. In order to become the successful Real Estate Agent that I hope to be, I can’t continue to throw things off to the last minute. For starters, me making my grades play an important role in me succeeding in college. I have to be above your average student. I’m not going to settle for that C or B, I want to be the best in my class. Another way for me to accomplish my goals is to make me a schedule, and to abide by that schedule. I can’t get side tracked by the activity’s that surround me, because there always going to be there. I have to watch who I hang out with. I have to make sure all my studying is done before I go have fun, and make sure I get my rest because in order to succeed in the classroom you have to be well rested. I believe if I follow these steps through college I will accomplish my professional goals.

In order to accomplish my professional goals, I will need to overcome several details that stand in my way. First. I need to begin to go to bed on an appropriate schedule so that I will get plenty of sleep for every morning’s 8am class. Another thing that could help me would be if I studied outside of my room because whenever I am in my room, I only want to sleep and relax. Third, I have gotten much better at time management by doing my homework immediately after my last class everyday, but sometimes I fail to obey.
    Grading Scheme of real life?
Usually when I meet new people, I tend to not try to be social but sometimes I’m very social. I would give myself about a “B-“ in meeting people, but the truth is that I have the potential to get an “A”. I need to try a little harder to be outgoing and easier to talk to.

What I first need to do in order to succeed with my college career is mainly focus. I find myself from day to day wasting time and I know that a habit like that cannot last especially in college. What I am going to start doing is brining my homework with me everywhere so I can get it out of the way. I cannot do homework in my dorm room because focusing is too difficult. I am going to start surrounding myself with people who are focused and concentrated on their studies. I feel that seeing people succeed around me will motivate me even more to work harder and will make me want to work hard to achieve the same success they are having. I have to stop giving in to the temptation of partying as well. It is fun for the moment but in the end could be a roadblock. Finally rest is needed. Not much to say about this except I am going to need a big amount in order to accomplish what I want to accomplish.

This is my four year college plans. My plans are to have a good GPA and make good grades in college. I want to get all the required classes done so I would be ahead. I want to major in marine biology. I want to make higher than a c on all my final grades in all my classes. If I can do this, I might be prepared for graduate school. I want to plan ahead so I am able to go to graduate school to help my career. I plan to do the same in graduate school as college by putting my best effort into my school work. In graduate school, you have to take a test for biology. I hope I am able to pass it.
My personal accountability is a, b, c, d, f is goals. A to B I can live up to my goals. C is I sort of live up to my goals. D to F is when I fail at my goal. What I really want to improve is my writing skill. What I am accountable for is my grades and my GPA and how I work. Some of my skills are being a hard worker and doing my best. Some of my resources are my family, friends, peers, and my teachers.

For the four years that I’m here I have main goals and some side goals set for me. My main goals are to graduate with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, to graduate in 4 years, and to have a career chosen in my first year. To be able to have a GPA of 3.5 or higher I must study more, do all my reading for each class, and going to tutoring when I’m not understanding a subject. To graduate in 4 years I need to pass with good grades in each class and find a career. Also I ‘ll look online or visit the career center to find a career that suites me. Some side goals that I have for before I graduate are to lose some weight, buy a new vehicle, and start saving money for a house. To lose some weight I need to exercise some more and eat healthier. I’m deciding if I should buy my father’s Chevy Silverado or buying something else and to selling my Chevy Blazer to get some money to do so. After I buy a new vehicle I need to save some money from work to buy a house for after I graduate.

    My Four years Plan
In my four years in college at Indiana Bloomington, I plan on accomplishing a lot of goals. My freshman year in college I plan on getting a GPA of a 3.0 or better nothing less and keeping them that way. By me doing that I have to study hard, stay focus keep my head on straight and don’t do nothing dumb, and most of all stop procrastinating. I plan on playing basketball for IU and help them out because I feel I can bring a lot to the team even if it has to take me two or three, I feel it each and every day it’s going to happen. During my sophomore year I plan to be still on the team and I hope to be in the Kelly School of Business and start my career from there. Going towards my junior year I plan to really start giving back to the people who help me be where I am today such as group I hope to become a RA in the groups program and always be a helper towards everyone. Last my senior I hope to graduate and become a business man and for the people who need help; I will be there to give them all the help I can give them such as the ones who are having a hard time getting a job. Overall I would mostly achieve for a B because I don’t consider myself as Mr. no everything even though some people do especially in basketball and I know I am not because I still have a lot work to do to even become one of the best. I know I have to still practice, eat right, run, and train my body so I want get lazy under no circumstance.

In college there are many things in my opinion that will assist me in my professional goal of becoming an attorney. The first thing I plan to do is graduate from my undergraduate career with at least a 3.5 gpa. To accomplish this goal I plan to not only study hard, but use all of the resources that are around me to help me succeed. There are many tutoring services and things of that nature to assist students in their academics. I also plan to form relationships not jus with my peers but with my elders also. These relationships are also key in getting that recommendation letter or landing that job which will move me forward. Lastly, but definitely not least I need to mature as develop as an individual. If I work on myself and my ways of viewing things and just growing into a more well rounded person, I can achieve anything I want. With these goals in mind, I will not wish to be successful, but that is exactly what I will be.

    The Next Four Years
The next four years will be crucial in helping me to accomplish my professional goals. First, in the next four years I have to figure out some goals I would like to work toward; goals like stop procrastinating, finding the passion to sit down and read the books or pages that are assigned for me to read, go to classes everyday maybe show up early and not just on time. Another good goal to have and follow is getting to bed on time and not staying out so late. However, the biggest goal for me is to get a 3.0 G.P.A.; I have never had a 3.0 or higher in my life and it is a great goal to work up to. With each of these goals in my reach I am confidante that I will have a very successful future.

I wasn't good at football in middle school and never cared about getting better.
All the way through school I strived to be a better student and got better grades as the years went on.

Then during the next two years I plan to start I-core and maintain my 3.0 GPA if not higher. Also while I am a junior I will take the LSAT to try and gain admittance into IU's Law School after I graduate. I will retake the LSAT my senior year in hopes of a better score and to gain admission if I don't the first time. The last thing I plan to do is walk across the stage my senior year and receive my diploma for a BA in Business Management. The next step will be to start my plan for law school.

    Response
While sitting on that couch listening to the presentation for the “All Races are Raciest” lesson Wednesday September 23 all I could think about was how it all came back on the white male. I did not and do not understand all white men of the past are stereotyped into this category of owning slaves. Free Black men during the civil war owned slaves and white men were also slaves; so it is a negative stereotype that anyone could possibly fit in to. However, I did enjoy hearing other people’s points of view on the subject. Also all of the different cultural backgrounds that were there and sharing their insight into their own personal knowledge was an uplifting experience. I enjoyed the different setting besides being stuck in the classroom for two hours. The most rewarding experience of the night was the knowledge that was shared and what was learned.

    La casa meeting

As I watched and observed the presentation on Wednesday evening, I learned a lot. I say that because even though in the back of my mind I knew people over the years have been really racist, I didn’t know that so much racism still occurs today. To piggy back on the question, “would it be racist if a white man said it”, I feel that yes it would. I say that because through all the power that whites have over this country, to say such a thing would just rub it in minorities faces. But, I feel that it wasn’t racist because for her to say that because of her background. Because minorities have been treated to harsh over the years, I feel that she would actually be able to relate more to the problems of Hispanics, than so a white man would.
I also learned that reversed racism, does not exists. I feel that it is only racism against white people. I feel that we have overcome so much over the past years that we minorities deserve a break from all the hostility. There should be no more racial incidents about whites and blacks getting along, or any other races getting along either, but instead we should have love for one another. I feel that people have failed to realize that this is a new day and age that we live in today. All the killing and acting stupid is what they did back in the day against each other. Now-a-days we need to help lift up our neighbors instead of dragging them down.

    College Goals

While I’m in college I plan setting high academic standards for myself that will make my chances of getting into the school of my choice even greater. I will first start by attending all classes. And while arriving to class on time I will use my great note taking skills and apply them to the lecture or discussion of the day. Afterwards, in my free time, I will review those notes so that when its time to attend that certain class again I will have an even better view of the topic discussed. After continuing this method it will allow me to have more confidence and basic understanding of the material that I will see on the upcoming exam. Once I achieve great scores on these exams, the outcome of the entire semester will result in a well-rounded GPA that is above a 3.0. Furthermore, after repeating this cycle I will have completed the required prerequisites that I will need to apply to the school of my choice. In order to make sure that I a m involved on campus I plan on joining a leadership organization and participate in athletics to stay in shape. These are all of the things that will help me personally achieve my goals in college throughout my years here.
